Freebie Websites Proofs

Freebie Site Proof Pics and Videos that Sell

What’s going on? Today, I want to talk about freebie site testimonials (Proof Pics and Videos) and how to make them effective enough to sell to your viewers about freebie sites!
You see, I was actually on Youtube today reviewing  a series of videos with people showing off free gadgets they’ve received from freebie sites such as Lockerz, Freebiejeebies, Trainn, Xpango, etc. I was mainly watching these video testimonials to see how people reacted or responded to them. It turns out, while some videos of awesome gadgets get ridiculed with huge skepticism, other proof videos seem to convert traffic very effectively as more and more people demand to get involved.
So if you plan on submitting picture testimonials and show off your freebies on videos to inspire viewers to sign up to your freebie sites, then you’re definitely going to want to read this post!

CREATING PROOF PICS AND VIDEOS THAT SELL

So, whether you’re looking to show off your free Macbook Pro or any gift to inspire viewers to become your referral, there are several key principles you need to follow in order to create a strong selling testimonial.

Image and Video Quality

Whether your showing off your Free xbox 360 slim on a jpeg or your free iMac on a youtube video, do your best to make sure your image quality is clean and at it’s absolute clarity. Even though the images are made to be personal, fact is, gadgets sell better with clarity and crisp. A poor quality image can take away 5 yrs from your gift. Remember, if you’re unboxing your new gift, make sure the video looks fresh too.

Have a Free Gadget

Make sure you’ve actually gotten a free gift. Don’t just take a picture of your game cube or ps3 and pass it off as a freebie, because you won’t get far; especially without a legitimate receipt, etc.
If you’ve never received a free gift before, you can showcase other people’s freebies as long as you have their permission. On exceem’s freebie community forum, you’ll find loads of pics and testimonials. Make sure you have an account with the forum, and then ask permission from the user to use the image. You can also leverage off testimonials and videos offered on Xpango.com.

Show Your Self – Show Some Faces

It’s not enough to most people to look at a photo of an iPod sitting on your bed sheets. So you might want to show your face and have a picture of yourself holding your free gadget. If you’re shooting a video testimonial, BE IN THE VIDEO. Aim the camera at your face and introduce yourself and then show off your free gadget.

Even while you’re unboxing the free gift, you can occasionally aim the camera at your face as you continue to express how excited you are over your free gift!
Another reason why you want to show yourself is because it gives your viewers a sense of community. most people hide behind cartoon avatars and weird nicknames when promoting freebie sites without realizing it does more damage than good. I’ve come across loads of youtube videos with people showing off their free gadgets, but you don’t see the person behind the camera, you don’t know their names, nor do you even hear them. Naturally, the comments to those type of vides read, “Scam”, “Bull Sh*t”… etc..

Provide Recorded Proof | Evidence

Make sure you have something recorded whether it be your account status, or a receipt. If you’re doing a proof video, take a second to log into your account admin and to show your viewers the statement or status that says you’ve legitimately earned your free gift. You can also take a second to show off a receipt to prove that you’ve received your gift directly from your freebie site… in that way, people won’t question the network’s legitimacy.

Introduce the Community

This is more for video testimonials. Not only should you show off your gadget and showcase your account status or receipt as proof, you should also introduce the freebie community by logging into your freebie forum.
Fact is, people want to be involved if they see that others are getting involved. No one wants to do freebie sites feeling like they’re on their own. People need to feel a sense of community and social proof. I mean, which of these statements sound more attractive to you, “Get a Free Xbox 360 Kinect!” or “Join 10,000 people ordering Free Xbox Consoles and Kinects“?
Do you understand? Introduce the community in your video so that your viewers feel more confident and more excited. No body wants to feel like they’ll be on their own with no help.

Call to action

Last but not least, provide a call to action. Whether you want to leave a URL at the bottom of your image or direct people to your link or freebie site at the end of the video, make sure you have a place to send your viewers to.

A complete summary

So, here’s what I imagine to be an awesome proof video that will convert well.
A video host sitting in front of the camera introducing his/herself while opening a free ipod, iPhone 4, or Xbox console. Before unboxing the free gift, the video host takes the camera and zooms in on the shipping statement reading, “From: Freebiewebsite LLC etc..”, as proof. The host then proceeds to unbox the freebie while expressing his or her excitement for it. After showing off the freebie and turning it on, the video host then logs on to his freebie account to show his freebie statement – further supporting the site’s legitimacy. Then the video host logs on to his freebie forum and shows off all the gadgets people have received from the freebie network!

So that’s pretty much it! If you’re going to use your testimonial to get more referrals, make sure your proof pics and videos follow the principals i listed above. You don’t want people to think you’re faking it!
Until next time,
